Dev-Diary: 108

The final release of ‘roll’ is out on Steam and itch.io~! ^,,^
The Google Play-Store version will be in about 2 weeks from now, as will the Soundtrack on Steam~

I’ve already spoken about the many updates to this version in my last post, so I won’t go over them here, but it’s safe to say there were lots of little updates and fixes. In addition, the Steam release also comes with dozens of achievements to collect (because that’s just fun!)~☆

I actually don’t have much else to discuss this post however. That isn’t to say I haven’t been hard at work, quite the opposite actually I have been working non-stop, but I can’t quite talk about it just yet. I’ll keep y’all posted when I have something to show though~!

I think that’s it from me today. I did a huge spiel about how thankful I am for the experience of working on ‘roll’ a couple of posts ago, so I won’t do another big thankful rant here today, but this’ll probably be the last time I work on this project (aside from potentially fixing some issues on the Steam release), however I may do a postmortem later this year though. Regardless, it’s exciting and a little bittersweet to be closing this chapter of my life; I’ve said a few times over the past year that I’ve had to sadly cut a lot of content due to a lack of time and funding for the project, but in the end I still got to make something rather cool and beautiful, and I am a much better developer now because of it.

If you want to support my work at all (and are financially able to do so), go check out the Steam release, or even better grab a copy of the Soundtrack when it launches in 2 weeks! (or go check-out my KoFi page… which I should probably go update..~)

Till next time, all the best~!
